Treetop Tuesday in Primary One!

This morning, Primary One had a fantastic time exploring and learning outdoors for Treetop Tuesday in the sunny weather! 

We started our day in the garden where the children began by doing their reading! Then we got creative making different types of soup in the mud kitchen, building their own farms in the sandpit, putting on an imaginative puppet show, and working together to build a bridge using wooden planks. 

After all the fun in the garden, we moved on to some numeracy activities. Miss McBurney called out different numbers, and the children had to gather one less using resources like twigs, leaves, sticks, and conkers. We also practised rolling dice, writing the number shown, finding one less, and matching the numbers to the correct number of natural objects.
