Treetop Tuesday in P1๐ฒ
28th Apr 2026
This morning during topic play, some of us headed out to the garden to observe the changing flowers and used the petals to create beautiful spring art ๐ธ. Others were busy in our butterfly farm, catching butterflies and working hard to look after the space, pulling up “weeds” and “harvesting crops” just like real farmers ๐ฆ๐
In the water area, we got creative using pipe cleaners to make bubbles, and watched the water pour down the pipes, thinking about how water is important for helping things grow on a farm!๐ง
Later, we worked together to order numbers and practised counting in 2s. Then we collected natural materials to match a number, took one away, and explored the concept of “one less.” We even had a go at recording our answers using chalk.
