P6 have been working with money this week so our problem solving was based on a TV game show from a long time ago (When Mrs Lyons was a child) called 'The Price is Right'.
The children had to guess what price certain items were, based on their description and given a range to work within.
Once everyone had guessed, the actual price was given and the children used their new found skills to work out the difference. Then they calculated the total.
The winner was the person who had the lowest total.
Congratulations to Holly L and Nixie who had very low totals, but our 'super-shopper' was Lily! Like all good game shows, prizes were won...
