P7 have been looking at Morse Code as part of our Titanic topic.
The children looked at the origins of Morse Code and why it was important during the era when The Titanic set sail.
They were tasked with assembling Morse Code kits. Using these kits the children had to send and decode messages as would have been the case during the ill fated journey.
We all agreed that using a smartphone is a lot easier BUT if we wanted to send a coded message, Morse Code would be much better.
