We are so proud of our P6/7 team who attended their very first swimming gala today!
They competed against 11 other local primary schools in front and back crawl, breast stroke and a 6 person relay race!
We had 3 pupils qualify for their finals, with Riley Moffett and Lexi Hanley narrowly missing out on a podium on their final.
Special congratulations to Harley Taylor in P6 who came 1st in the breast stroke, giving SPS their first win in a very long time! Mrs Nelson made a deal that a win was secured, she would jump in in her clothes. The pictures speak for themselves as she returned to school soaking wet!
All pupils who competed have their all, and we all had a fantastic day!
