Every Monday morning, Primary 4 have been loving our multi-sensory spelling stations to practice our spelling rule for the week.
Today, we focused on words with the ‘soft g’ sound. We traced in sand, played bingo, matched word cards, used magnetic letters to build words and rolled and read words before putting them into sentences on our whiteboards. ✏️🎲
Afterwards, we challenged ourselves to create full sentences using our newly learnt words and drew pictures. We always finish our phonics lesson with a word search based on our new sound – a fun way to reinforce our learning! 🤩
