As part of our Superheroes topic, Primary 3 have been looking at onomatopoeic words found in comic books - like boom, bang and pop! 🌟
We looked at work by the artist Roy Lichtenstein, and had a go at creating our own ‘Pop Art’ style comic book words! 🦸🏼♀️🦸🏻♂️
First, we added stars and other details around our word. Then we painted them in bold colours such as red, yellow, blue and green. Finally we added some ‘Ben day dots’ to add a real comic book effect! 💥
