Primary 3 have been learning all about plants! Today, we had a look at plants we can eat. We have been learning about the parts of the plant: Root, stem, leaves, flower and fruit.
Today we looked at different fruits and vegetables, and matched them to the parts of the plant that it is that we are eating! 🌱
We were able to identify that carrots are roots, celery is the stem, spinach is the leaves, broccoli are the flower and berries and bananas are the fruit! 🤩
Finally, we made fruit and vegetable kebabs and tried all the different parts of a plant that you can eat!
