Primary 3 have been learning all about plants! Today, we had a look at plants we can eat. We have been learning about the parts of the plant:
Root, stem, leaves, flower, sends and fruit.
Today we looked at different fruits and vegetables, and matched them to the parts of the plant that it is that we are eating! 
We were able to identify that:
Carrots - roots Celery - stem
Lettuce - leaves
Broccoli - flower
Apple - fruit
Peas - seedsWe tried all the different fruits and vegetables, and then sorted them into a table about which part of the plant they are!
