Primary 3 had a fantastic time at Forest School! We have been exploring different types of plants, so played a tree Identification game! We led our partner (with their eyes closed!) to a tree, then brought them back to the start. Our partner then had to see if they could spot the tree they had felt, based on the features like size, feel of the bark and if it had any leaves! 🍃
After that we talked about how we could measure a trees height without a ladder! We learnt that you can look through our legs, and if you can see the top of the tree - the distance along the ground is how tall it is! 🌳
Finally, we harvested the cress we grew - and some of us were even brave enough to try some! It was quite spicy 🤪
