Continuing on with our look at dance prior to and during the war, P6 were learning The Lambeth Walk today. This was a particular favourite of Cockney people from the East End of London.
By the end of the routines our 'plates of meat' were sore because we did that many steps we felt we had climbed hundreds of 'apples and pears'!
