As part of our new topic we have been learning all about Northern Ireland! Today we had a special treat, because Arlene from the Livestock and Meat Commission came to school to teach us about buying local produce, and to cook us a delicious recipe made from locally sourced ingredients! Some of us tried things we’d never eaten before, and we all thought that the recipe was very tasty! Arlene gave each of us a recipe book full of yummy recipes which could easily be made from home!
