We took the train to Whitehead before walking down to the beach. Despite the lack of sunshine, we didn't let the weather stop us from having fun!
We played on the beach, built sandcastles, played football and searched for wildlife. They were delighted to find crabs and other seaside creatures along the shore. 🦀🏖️
Afterwards, they played at the park before a quick trip to Maud's for a well-deserved ice cream on the way back to the train. 🍦
