Inspired by Seamus Heaney, P6 have been harvesting blackberries in the local fields and using Numeracy skills such as measuring and problem-solving to create culinary delights.
P6 also used our knowledge of medieval times when the King would use a 'taster' to make sure his food wasn't poisoned. We enlisted Mrs Lyons to do this job!
A great time was had by all and Seamus was right; our hands were 'sticky' by the end of it!
