Primary 2 had some special visitors in our classroom over the past few weeks. We were very excited to welcome 5 baby caterpillars! 🐛 We watched them closely and observed how they grew and changed appearance.
Once we came back to school after a long weekend, we were excited to see how each of the caterpillars were safely inside their chrysalis’! We waited very patiently each day to see if any would come out 👀
We were overjoyed that all 5 of our caterpillars had changed into beautiful butterflies! We ventured outside to safely release them. We gave them a wave goodbye as they flew off into our school garden… 🦋👋🏼
