Primary 3 have loved starting our new World Around Us topic, Knights and Castles! During Activity Based Learning, we have enjoyed exploring the role play area, using the iPads to research Northern Ireland’s castles, imaginative play with the small world castle, constructing castles from lego and creating performances with the puppet theatre! 🎭
We also worked to decorate our classroom like a castle by creating stained glass windows out of black card and tissue paper!
Then we explored symmetry, and used bright coloured paper and super scissor skills to create symmetrical castle artwork 🤩
