This week in primary one we have had so much fun learning all about the Police. We have been reading the book Burglar Bill all about a silly burglar who has stolen everything in his house!!
We have been learning about what equipment a police officer needs, what uniform they wear, what their police car looks like and does and different phrases that they commonly say..."You're under arrest" or "Please pull over, it's the police calling."
In our playroom we had our very own police station where some police men and women were working hard to catch some of our very own P1 Burglars! We were also painting a picture of ourselves as a burglar on a WANTED poster, finding stolen money in the sand tray, building a prison and even making a police identity card using our finger prints.
