This week in Numeracy, P1 have been exploring 3D shapes! 🔺🟦⚽
We began by revising the properties of a cylinder, cube, cuboid, cone and sphere, thinking carefully about their faces, edges and vertices. To put our learning into practice, we worked together to build our own cuboids using playdough and lollipop sticks. This challenge took lots of problem solving, teamwork and resilience as we figured out how to make our structures strong and stable.
We were so proud of ourselves for not giving up and for using collaboration to succeed. Well done everyone! 👏✨
